Rosa Parks made one of the most historic movements in African-American history. Rosa was born on February 4, 1913. She had one sibling named Sylvester. Rosa Parks is so important in black history because the discrimination law back then indicated that if you are African American and sitting in the front of the city bus you had to give up your seat for a person who was of no color and go to the back of the bus. Rosa stood up for her rights and didn’t go to the back of the bus for a white man and she got arrested. It was so wrong and racist that the other black passengers started a protest against the bus company. The protest was so big and affective, that the government were forced to raise the bus law. After that,Rosa Parks was known as ‘‘the mother of the freedom movement’’. Rosa Parks died after a beautiful, helpful life on October 24, 2005. That is why Rosa Parks is one of the most amazing, inspiring , and important people in African American history.
